Milwaukee, Wisconsin - Day 6

We lingered in Chicago an extra day and it felt great.  Finally got our first jog in, which was absolutely necessary considering the food and beer consumed in Chicago.  We travelled north to Milwaukee and hit the lakefront first.  The lakefront has a series of beautiful beaches ranging from recreational fields to sandy beaches.  We came across a rugby tournament and saw young girls tackling each other.  Crazy.  See photo below.

Check out the girl getting tackled

We got to Miller Park about 2 hours before game time and witnessed the biggest tailgating scene ever.  Reminded us of college football tailgating.  People everywhere with food, tents, and cornhole.  Cornhole is definitely king here.  The stadium is new and impressive with the roof dominating.  They have a retractable roof which was open for our game.  The game was a blowout as the Brewers were in homerun mode - got to see "Bernie the Brewer" slide down his slide out in centerfield.  We left the game, and travelled north to get a jump on Minneapolis.  Ended up in Black River Falls, Wisconsin at a Best Western with the "Orange Moose Lodge".
