The day was hot once again and we found our seats but never sat in them because it was too sunny and hot. We tried sometime in the 4th or 5th inning and could only make it for a couple of outs. Like many new parks, there are rails along the corridors where you can stand and watch the game. We watched most of this game from the shade along one of the rails.
We met some very friendly people - Ted, Brent, and then Alley. I heard the term "Minnesota nice" for the first time and it seemed to apply. The Twins went home run happy and hit 4 (first time sat Target Field). The game seemed in hand until the 9th when KC came back to score 3 runs and had two men on when they finally got out.

During the evening we hit the "uptown" section and ate at a place called Chino Latinos. The food was excellent and was a mix of Thai, Japanese, and Mexican cuisines. We walked around and hung out on several rooftop bars. Beautiful night out but it was Sunday and a little quiet. We came back to the hotel bar and met some locals and talked New York and baseball in general. Also, very nice people.
